Our Purpose

Della Casa Montessori is a boutique preschool in southeast Colorado Springs, CO. Our purpose is to provide young children with an exceptional education, inspire mindful parenting, and cultivate community belonging. We value dignity and respect for the child, inclusivity, and a deep connection with nature.

Our Classroom

Della Casa Montessori offers a beautiful environment carefully curated to foster the learning and development of the whole child.  


Our Montessori Environment:

  • Engages focus and profound concentration 
  • Fosters social-emotional development by emphasizing grace and courtesy 


Children ages 2.5 - 6  are welcome in our primary classroom. 

The Montessori Method

Dr. Maria Montessori was an Italian physician. She developed her philosophy and methodology in the late 1800s. Her keen observations and scientific approach to instructing children informed her teaching methods. She was a pioneer in the applied science of cognitive development in early childhood. 


The Montessori Method is timeless and can be found in classrooms like ours all around the world! 


Inspired by its Italian roots, Della Casa Montessori translates from Italian to "of the Montessori home."
