The name Montessori is not trademarked or copyrighted. You may encounter a "Montessori inspired" program; however, it may lack authentic Montessori materials or may not have certified Montessori guides qualified to use the materials as prescribed.

We are confident that you will be inspired by our Montessori environment. Our experienced director is happy to answer any questions you may have as you consider if our Montessori program is right for your child.  

Educators certified in Montessori pedagogy are classically referred to as guides. 

A Montessori guide must hold a  certificate from an accredited body. Skilled Montessori guides provide the children with uninterrupted work time, remove external reinforcements, spend time observing students and the classroom, and act as guardians, not grand orchestrators, of the learning environment. Guides and assistants are trained to follow the lead of the child.
